One of the things we’re very passionate about here at Fully Booked VA is connecting with and learning about those in our community – meaning you!
Most of our audience falls into one of the first three categories you saw in our email, but not always.
For example, we also see people entering the world of freelancing and service-based business such as:
- Those nearing or in retirement
- Stay-at-home parents

- College students preparing to enter the workforce (but in a more fulfilling and profitable way!)
Regardless of where you’re coming from, there has never been a better time to become a freelancer.
Cutting out the middleman of an employer by providing services (that you already know how to do) directly to businesses as a freelancer, Virtual Assistant, or independent contractor (the title really doesn’t matter!) has been on the rise dramatically.
It’s a model that’s been around for quite some time, and as the pandemic helped establish – it’s a way to work that just makes sense, both for you and for business owners (i.e. your future clients).
And, when you consider things like the 305,000 people who were laid off in the US alone in 2023, creating your own job security also… just makes sense!
